Job Description

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the testing and installation of robots and automation equipment, ensuring all systems operate efficiently and effectively.
  • Collaborate with the Engineering Manager to develop and implement automation solutions tailored to customer needs.
  • Conduct thorough system diagnostics and troubleshooting to resolve any issues with robotic and automation equipment.
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation, including installation guides and maintenance procedures.
  • Train customer personnel on the operation and maintenance of automation systems to ensure smooth integration.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in automation technology to enhance system performance.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams, including design and production, to streamline processes and improve overall system design.

The Successful Applicant

Ideal Candidate:

  • Bachelor's degree in Controls Engineering or relevant field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 3 to 5 years of hands-on experience in programming Allen Bradley PLCs.
  • Proficient in HMI programming, including SCADA systems, tag-based programming, and tools like Figma.
  • Familiarity with FANUC robot programming, Keyence vision systems, and various other automation technologies.
  • 3 to 5 years of experience programming safety controllers.
  • Skilled in designing electrical schematics and layouts for electrical panels.
