Job Description:
Create valve test plans and oversee qualification testing.
Analyze test data and create performance reports.
Perform hands-on test preparation for valve assembly in a lab environment.
Provide status updates to technical team during reviews and other activities.
9H5) Typically, educational requirements are the equivalent of a Ph.D., with a minimum 9 years of experience, MS with at least 13 years of experience, or BS with at least 15 years of experience.
Required Experience / Skills:
Knowledge of NASA and/or aerospace design and construction standards.
CAD experience, CREO preferred.
Activities may include but not be limited to: Provide design of valves for small hypergolic propulsion systems to large cryogenic liquid engines or stages.
Create or review valves specifications.Create valve test plans and oversee qualification testing.
Analyze test data and create performance reports.
Perform hands-on test preparation for valve assembly in a lab environment.
Provide status updates to technical team during reviews and other activities.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Job Requirements: A degree in engineering or related (STEM) field is required. A degree from an ABET-accredited university is preferred.

Required Experience / Skills:
Experience in at least one of the following areas: Experience with valve design and testing.
Knowledge of fabrication, quality control, and material selection relative to valve manufacturing processes.Knowledge of valve sealing materials for a variety of propellant fluid.
Desired Experience / Skills: Valve design experience.
Knowledge of hypergolic and/or cryogenic propellants.Knowledge of NASA and/or aerospace design and construction standards.
CAD experience, CREO preferred.
Good communication and presentation skills.
