Copperhead Technologies, an operating firm of Command Holdings, is seeking a talented and detail-oriented Software Developer in support of the USSOCOM SOCRATES mission. The Software Developer will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining innovative software solutions that align with business requirements.

This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams, including product managers, designers, and quality assurance professionals, to deliver high-quality applications on time.

Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:

  • Strong problem-solving skills.
  • Deep understanding of software development principles,
  • Proficiency in modern programming languages and tools.
  • A commitment to staying up to date with emerging technologies and contributing to a culture of continuous improvement is essential.

Work Environment:

  • Moderate noise (i.e. business office with computers, phone and printers) and /or occasional Loud noise (airfield, large equipment).
  • Ability to sit at a computer terminal for an extended period of time.

Physical Demands:

  • While performing the responsibilities of the job, the employee is required to sit, stand, talk, and hear.
  • Employee is often required to sit and use their hands and fingers to operate a computer.

Travel:

Requirements

Basic Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree //OR// 5 years relevant experience in software development.
  • Current, active Top Secret security clearance with the ability to obtain TS/SCI eligibility.
  • High proficiency in Python programming language.
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in software development, to include:
  • Familiarity with front-end technologies such as: JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
  • Experience with RESTful APIs, relational databases, and data optimization.
  • Experience with object-oriented languages (Python preferred).
  • Experience with ESRI products (ArcGIS, ArcGIS Server, Arc Pro).
  • Good communication skills, self-starter mindset.
  • Professional proficiency in English is required.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in using all Microsoft Office applications.
  • Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis. Copperhead Technologies will not sponsor applicants for work visas for this position.

  • Bachelor’s degree in a STEM field.
  • Current, active TS/SCI security clearance.
