The Opportunity ...:
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior HR Specialist to join our Human Resources team. The Senior HR Specialist will play a key role in supporting various HR functions, including recruitment, employee relations, performance management, and compliance.This role requires a proactive approach and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
This position is located in Riverside, CA, onsite is required, remote work is not available.
Key Responsibilities
Recruitment and Onboarding:
- Manage the full recruitment cycle, including job postings, candidate screening, interviewing, and onboarding.
- Ensure a smooth and positive onboarding experience for new hires.
Employee Relations:
- Act as a point of contact for employee inquiries and concerns.
- Mediate and resolve employee conflicts and issues in a fair and consistent manner.
- Foster a positive work environment and promote employee engagement.
Performance Management:
- Assist in the development and implementation of performance management programs.
- Provide guidance to managers and employees on performance evaluations and goal setting.
- Support the HR Manager in conducting performance reviews and addressing performance issues.
Payroll Administration:
- Oversee and manage payroll processing to ensure accurate and timely payment of wages.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll regulations.
- Address payroll-related inquiries and resolve discrepancies.
Compliance and Policy Administration:
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
- Assist in the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records.
Training and Development:
- Identify training needs and coordinate training programs for employees.
- Support the HR Manager in developing and delivering training sessions on various HR topics.
Compensation and Benefits:
- Assist in the administration of compensation and benefits programs.
- Provide guidance to employees on benefits enrollment and inquiries.
HR Projects and Initiatives:
- Participate in HR projects and initiatives to support organizational goals.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive HR initiatives and improvements.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. HR certification (e.g., SHRM-CP, PHR) is a plus.
- Experience: Minimum of 5-10 years of experience in a generalist HR role, preferably in a manufacturing or technology environment.
- Skills:
- Strong knowledge of HR principles and practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Experience with HRIS systems (e.g., Workday, ADP) is preferred.
- Proficiency in payroll software and payroll processing.

- Annual Salary Range: $80,000 - $100,000, compensation will be dependent on experience and qualifications.
