The Opportunity ...:

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior HR Specialist to join our Human Resources team. The Senior HR Specialist will play a key role in supporting various HR functions, including recruitment, employee relations, performance management, and compliance.

This role requires a proactive approach and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

This position is located in Riverside, CA, onsite is required, remote work is not available.

Key Responsibilities

Recruitment and Onboarding:

  • Manage the full recruitment cycle, including job postings, candidate screening, interviewing, and onboarding.
  • Ensure a smooth and positive onboarding experience for new hires.

Employee Relations:

  • Act as a point of contact for employee inquiries and concerns.
  • Mediate and resolve employee conflicts and issues in a fair and consistent manner.
  • Foster a positive work environment and promote employee engagement.

Performance Management:

  • Assist in the development and implementation of performance management programs.
  • Provide guidance to managers and employees on performance evaluations and goal setting.
  • Support the HR Manager in conducting performance reviews and addressing performance issues.

Payroll Administration:

  • Oversee and manage payroll processing to ensure accurate and timely payment of wages.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll regulations.
  • Address payroll-related inquiries and resolve discrepancies.

Compliance and Policy Administration:

  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records.

Training and Development:

  • Identify training needs and coordinate training programs for employees.
  • Support the HR Manager in developing and delivering training sessions on various HR topics.

Compensation and Benefits:

  • Assist in the administration of compensation and benefits programs.
  • Provide guidance to employees on benefits enrollment and inquiries.

HR Projects and Initiatives:

  • Participate in HR projects and initiatives to support organizational goals.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive HR initiatives and improvements.
Qualifications
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. HR certification (e.g., SHRM-CP, PHR) is a plus.
  • Experience: Minimum of 5-10 years of experience in a generalist HR role, preferably in a manufacturing or technology environment.
  • Skills:
  • Strong knowledge of HR principles and practices.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Experience with HRIS systems (e.g., Workday, ADP) is preferred.
  • Proficiency in payroll software and payroll processing.

Compensation
  • Annual Salary Range: $80,000 - $100,000, compensation will be dependent on experience and qualifications.
  • Additional Compensation: Performance-based bonuses, health insurance, retirement plans, and other benefits.
