Responsibilities- Transaction Management: Coordinate and manage all aspects of commercial real estate transactions from inception to closing, including sales, acquisitions, leasing, and financing.
- Document Preparation: Draft, review, and finalize legal documents such as purchase agreements, lease agreements, title commitments, closing statements, deeds, and other related documents.
- Due Diligence: Conduct and manage comprehensive due diligence processes, including title and survey reviews, zoning and land use analysis, and environmental assessments.
- Title and Escrow Coordination: Work closely with title companies to resolve title issues, ensure timely issuance of title commitments and policies, and coordinate escrow closings.
- Legal Research: Perform legal research related to commercial real estate transactions, including reviewing local, state, and federal regulations.
- Financial Management: Assist in the management of funds, including preparing and reviewing settlement statements and ensuring accurate financial documentation.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Real Estate Paralegal, with a focus on commercial real estate.
- Proficient in preparing and managing legal documents related to commercial property transactions.
- Proficiency in real estate software (e.g., SoftPro, Landtech) and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field or Paralegal Certification preferred.
