We are searching for a Receptionist to join our team in Jersey City, New Jersey. This role provides a short-term contract employment opportunity in the industry. As a receptionist, you will primarily handle customer interactions, manage various lines of communication, and maintain organizational efficiency.

Responsibilities
  • Operate multi-line phone systems to answer, screen, or forward calls, providing information or taking messages as necessary.
  • Utilize Microsoft Outlook for scheduling, email correspondence, and management of contact lists.
  • Ensure the reception area is well-maintained, presentable, and welcoming to all visitors.
  • Assist in the resolution of customer inquiries promptly and professionally.
  • Utilize strong interpersonal skills to build positive relationships with clients and team members.
  • Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and transactions, recording details of inquiries, complaints, or comments.
  • Manage administrative tasks such as filing, copying, and faxing documents.
  • Assist other departments with tasks as needed to maintain smooth operation of the organization.
  • Communicate effectively with team members, providing updates and information as necessary.
  • Prioritize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously, ensuring all responsibilities are carried out within required deadlines. • Proficiency in answering a multi-line phone system
  • Strong interpersonal skills to engage with clients and staff
  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Outlook for email and calendar management
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion
  • Organizational skills to manage various tasks
  • Attention to detail to ensure accurate information recording
  • Prior experience in a receptionist role is preferred
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
