We are in the search for a proficient Accounting Manager/Supervisor to join our team in the Healthcare/NHS industry, located in Pasadena, California. In this role, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of our financial operations, including maintaining accurate financial records, preparing financial statements, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulations.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare, analyze, and present monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
• Oversee all general ledger activity, including reconciliations, journal entries, and month-end and year-end closing processes.
• Collaborate with management to develop annual budgets, monitor performance against budgets, and prepare forecasts to support strategic planning.
• Manage the full cycle of accounts payable and accounts receivable functions, ensuring timely payments to vendors and collections from customers.
• Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations, including tax filings and reporting requirements. Coordinate and manage internal and external audits.
• Monitor cash flow, maintain cash forecasts, and ensure adequate liquidity for the company's operations.
• Develop and implement effective internal controls to safeguard assets and ensure the accuracy and reliability of financial information.
• Conduct financial analysis to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for cost savings and process improvements.
• Oversee payroll processing, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely disbursement.
• Maintain accounting software and systems, ensuring data integrity and accuracy.
• Collaborate with various departments to provide financial insights and support decision-making processes.
• Prepare ad-hoc financial reports and participate in special projects as required. • Minimum of 3 years of experience in an Accounting Manager or Supervisor role within the Healthcare/NHS industry
• Proficiency in using Accounting Software Systems
• Experience with ADP - Financial Services
• Knowledge of BlackLine software usage
• Familiarity with Concur software
• Understanding of ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning
• Demonstrated skills in managing Accounting Functions
• Experience in handling Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR)
• Expertise in conducting Auditing
• Experience in managing Billing Functions
• Must have the legal right to work in the specified location.
