Business Central Practice Manager

The Business Central (BC) Practice Manager is responsible for ensuring the overall success of the Business Central Practice by actively managing practice forecasts, guiding the delivery of services, enhancing sales engineering tactics, and coordinating comprehensive team efforts, including both on-shore and Global Delivery resources.Integral to this role is the strategic management of the project pipeline, safeguarding the practice's sustained growth and market position.
Duties and Responsibilities- Strategize and oversee the comprehensive operations of the Dynamics BC consulting services, ensuring team growth, high utilization, and excellence in delivery across services and projects
- Coordinate and integrate the activities of on-shore and Global Delivery teams, promoting synergistic operations, efficient resource allocation, and consistent service delivery standards
- Drive the expansion and refinement of BC consulting services and offerings, identifying opportunities for innovation and maintaining competitive market positioning
- Lead the development and implementation of dynamic BC marketing strategies, contributing to the practice's market presence and recognition as an authority in the field
- Undertake various high-impact initiatives as required by organizational leadership, aligning with the broader strategic goals and vision of the practice
- Spearhead business development efforts, identifying new client opportunities, engaging in solution engineering, and crafting compelling, value-driven proposals
- Establish and nurture strategic client partnerships, providing consultative guidance on technology investments, service enhancements, and business solution evolutions
- Command the pre-sales process, demonstrating deep product knowledge, analytical problem-solving, and client-focused solution presentation
- Construct and negotiate detailed implementation proposals, including comprehensive statements of work, cost estimates, and project budgets, ensuring alignment with both client objectives and practice capabilities
- Provide exemplary leadership in the management of client projects, ensuring organized, efficient, and communicative processes from initial planning through to successful delivery
- Analyze complex business requirements, translating these into functional specifications and process recommendations, ensuring clarity and actionable insights for both clients and consulting teams
- Conduct thorough gap analyses, guiding clients through informed decision-making processes regarding custom requirements and Dynamics BC capabilities
- Monitor and manage financial aspects within the practice, including adherence to individual and team budgets, scope of work, and overall financial performance
- Lead impactful client meetings and strategy sessions, driving meaningful conversations, fostering decision-making, and ensuring client satisfaction through consultative expertise.

- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business MIS or related field from an accredited college or university. Master’s degree preferred
- Certification in Dynamics BC or NAV is highly desired
- Customarily has at least 10 years of experience implementing and/or using Dynamics NAV or Dynamics Business Central (or similar ERP software) in one or more of the following areas: Accounting & Finance (including Project Accounting), Supply Chain Management, Inventory Management, Production Control (Process), Manufacturing, Warehouse, Master Planning or Transportation Management
- Customarily has at least 5 years of experience as a Practice Lead/Director managing global team
- Customarily has at least 3 years of mentorship/leadership experience

Salary Range
The following information is required by the California Equal Pay Transparency Act and applies only to individuals working in the state of California. The anticipated starting pay range for Irvine, California applicants for this role is $135,848.33 - 185,562.66, with a median of $160,840.46. Actual compensation is impacted by a number of factors including, but not limited to, skill set, level of experience, specific work locations and any potential licenses and certifications required for that role.
The following information is required by the Colorado Equal Pay Transparency Act and applies only to individuals working in the state of Colorado. The anticipated starting pay range for Denver, Colorado applicants for this role is $128,033.93 - $174,888.53, with a median of $151,588.44. Actual compensation is impacted by a number of factors including, but not limited to, skill set, level of experience, specific work locations and any potential licenses and certifications required for that role.
The following information is required by the Illinois Equal Pay Transparency Act and applies only to individuals working in the state of Illinois. The anticipated starting pay range for Chicago, Illinois applicants for this role is $129,847.44 - 177,365.71 with a median of $153,735.58. Actual compensation is impacted by a number of factors including, but not limited to, skill set, level of experience, specific work locations and any potential licenses and certifications required for that role.
