Agile Business Analyst - Hybrid

Description:

CTG is seeking an Agile Business Analyst to work hybrid in NYC. This is a long term W2 contract (could be contract to hire).

Duties:

  • Requirements Documentation: Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and document business requirements, ensuring clarity and completeness.
  • User Stories: Create and refine user stories and acceptance criteria, ensuring they are well-understood by the development team.
  • Agile Facilitation: Support agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, reviews, and retrospectives.
  • Backlog Management: Assist in prioritizing the product backlog to align with business objectives and stakeholder needs.
  • Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements and recommend solutions to enhance efficiency and productivity.
  • Stakeholder Communication: Act as a liaison between business stakeholders and the development team, facilitating effective communication and collaboration.
  • Data Analysis: Analyze data to provide insights and support decision-making processes.
  • Quality Assurance: Assist in defining and executing test plans to ensure deliverables meet quality standards and business requirements.

Skills:

  • Strong understanding of agile methodologies (e.g., Scrum, Kanban).
  • Proficiency in agile tools (e.g., Azure DevOps).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Experience:

  • 3+ years of experience as a Product Analyst/Business Analyst/Scrum Master in an agile environment.
  • Experience supporting a Product Owner with product analysis, feature breakdown, and prioritization.

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field.

Excellent verbal and written English communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group are required.
