Senior Inventory Accountant

Our client, a rapidly growing Technology company is currently seeking a talented and experienced Senior Inventory Accountant to become an integral part of their expanding operations. In this role you will perform a broad scope of inventory accounting tasks, cost analyses, and financial reporting duties related to inventory operations.

Responsibilities will include:

• Conducting monthly inventory reconciliations
• Handling month-end close processes, including stock ledger movements reconciliation
• Maintaining internal controls documentation related to inventory accounting
• Collaborating with stakeholders to enhance workflows and inventory/cost accounting processes
• Analyzing inventory and identifying potential excess and obsolete reserves
• Working with operations teams to understand costs and optimize inventory management
• Assisting in process improvements to increase efficiency and quality
• Leveraging data analytics tools for cost reduction and improvement of inventory forecasting
• Preparing variance analyses to ensure accurate financial results
• Supporting external audits by providing necessary documents and liaising with auditors

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or related field
• 3+ years of inventory accounting experience
• Excellent MS Excel skills
• Advanced knowledge US GAAP
