We are offering a contract to permanent opportunity for a Payroll Clerk position in Pasadena, Texas. As a Payroll Clerk, you'll be part of an industry that specializes in payroll processing and timekeeping. Your role will include maintaining accurate records, processing payroll, and handling light HR responsibilities.

• Accurately process payroll for over 300 employees using Paycom, including bi-weekly and off-cycle payroll.
• Maintain and update payroll records to ensure accuracy.
• Respond to payroll-related inquiries and provide excellent customer service.
• Work effectively both as part of a team and independently.
• Handle light HR responsibilities as part of the role.
• Maintain a high level of detail-orientation in all tasks.
• Proven experience as a Payroll Clerk
• Proficiency in payroll software, with a focus on processing payroll for 101 - 500 employees
• Solid understanding of basic accounting principles, fair labor standards, tax reporting and payroll
• High degree of professionalism and ability to handle confidential information
• Excellent organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks
• Strong numerical and analytical skills
• Ability to accurately calculate, post, correct, and manage accounting figures and financial records
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Adept at working in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment
• Ability to work independently and in a team.
