VP/Director of Finance

This role will be onsite and have both hands-on responsibilities as well as being a strategic business partner and advising management on strategic decisions about the organization's future.

• Develop internal control guidelines, policies, and procedures for cash, credit management, and administration
• Ensure timely, precise, and regulatory compliant financial reporting
• Ensure compliance with state and federal regulatory requirements and professional standards
• Serve as a financial advisor to the executive team for strategic planning purposes
• Oversee all aspects of accounting operations, including payables, receivables, payroll, and tax preparation
• Lead the budgeting process and manage the budget
• Gather and analyze financial data for forecasting with respect to profits, trends, costs, and compliance
• Coordinate the preparation of annual, quarterly, and monthly reports
• Manage insurance coverage for the organization, including compliance
• Process the financial activities of an organization to maximize profits and plan for growth
• Ensure the organization complies with tax laws and regulations for the industry.

• Bachelor’s degree in business, accounting, finance, or related field.
• Certifications such as CPA, CFA, CMA are preferred.
• Proven work experience in accounting or a related field.
• Ability to deliver quality work on tight deadlines.
• Strong communication skills and ability to present financial information so people of all levels can understand.
