Key Responsibilities:
- Posting daily receipts.
- Processing and verifying applications for credit.
- Preparing and sending customer invoices and credit memos.
- Issuing customer account statements as required.
- Maintaining and updating customer files, including name or address changes or mailing attentions.
- Processing customer payments and following up on outstanding invoices to ensure on-time payments.
- Preparing bank deposits and performing bank reconciliations.
- Assisting with month-end closing.
- Generating monthly, quarterly or annual financial statements and reports detailing paid and unpaid invoices and other accounts receivable activity.
- Maintaining compliance with company policies and procedures.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as an accounts receivable clerk.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting software.
- Excellent data entry skills along with a knack for numbers.
- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks.
- Strong attention to detail and confidentiality.
- High degree of accuracy and efficiency.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
