Overview:

Under the direction of the Warehouse Manager, the Warehouse Personnel assists in the accountability of all equipment in the warehouse. Responsibilities include following established policies and procedures for activities such as receiving, issuing and returning equipment to technicians, and processing defective returns back to vendor(s).

ESSENTIAL DUTIES:

  • Assist in the pulling, issuing, and returning of equipment from technicians.
  • Maintain all issue and return receipts generated via the scanner for all daily transactions.
  • Prior to issuing, verify that pulled inventory counts match the original quantity requested and the system issue transaction quantity.
  • Verify and receive inbound inventory and vendor shipments according to prescribed procedures.
  • Stock designated inventory locations with inbound inventory per established procedures.
  • Operate a forklift to unload trucks.
  • Maintains an accurate inventory counts and records of all products warehoused. Produce inventory records on a daily, weekly and/or monthly basis as directed by the Warehouse Manager.
  • Maintain safe work environment by following safe practices and adhering to safety policies. Report any accidents, losses, injuries or property damage to supervisor and customer based on established policies.
  • Operate company equipment safely in accordance with established policies and ensure that maintenance and care is performed appropriately.
  • Enhance the organization’s reputation through personal accountability for accomplishing new and different requests and always striving to add value.
  • Apply personal ethics, honesty, initiative, flexibility and responsibility in the performance of work assignments.
  • Accurately report all time worked and notify management or human resources of any questions, issues or concerns in this regard.
  • Maintain punctual, regular and consistent attendance.

OTHER DUTIES:

  • Perform general clerical work such as filing, copying, mailing, etc.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Required Knowledge/Skills/Attributes
  • Solid ability to operate pallet jackets and hand trucks is required.
  • Solid interpersonal and written/oral communication skills with the ability to relate well with coworkers to effectively coordinate activities and accomplish goals.
  • Solid ability to accurately manage Partner inventory.
  • Solid understanding of mobile technology.
  • Solid knowledge of word processing, spreadsheet, presentation and email software (preferably Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Internet).
  • Solid ability to apply training and available resources to assess the customer’s situation and identify the right technical solution.
  • Solid ability to provide customer service and support and be the face of MasTec Advanced Technologies and our Partner, and maintain a professional appearance.
  • Solid ability to follow managerial direction understand and follow instructions and established routines multi-task and analyze and solve problems.
  • Solid organizational, planning and prioritization skills attention to detail productive without compromising quality.
  • Solid ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines while managing external customer expectations and resetting accordingly.
  • Solid ability to read and speak English proficiently.
  • Solid ability to read, write and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence and memos.
  • Solid ability to handle sensitive and critical issues with demonstrated history of a commitment to ethics, honesty, integrity and credibility.

Education
  • High School Diploma or G.E.D. is required.
Experience
  • One (1) year of relevant work experience is required.
  • Some experience operating a Fork Lift is preferred.

WORKING CONDITIONS:

Requires ability to travel and drive to job sites as needed. Must have, prior to, and throughout employment, a current valid driver’s license. Work in performed in a normal office environment. Does not require physical activity other than that typically utilized in such a setting, working with standard office equipment (such as copier, phone, fax and personal computer).

Light physical effort required by handling objects up to 20 pounds occasionally and/or up to 10 pounds frequently. Overtime work is possible and may be expected in order to perform the essential functions of the position.

Pay Range: $14.43-$22.01
