This is an onsite, Boston-based position. Local candidates only. No agencies, please.

Note that this is a temporary position beginning January 6, 2025 and will end by June 30, 2025. Some evening and weekend work is required.

Position Summary
The Patron Program Manager - Temporary oversees the Friends of Fenway Court Patron Program, an upper-level membership group of key supporters who give $2,000–$100,000 annually and enjoy a greater level of access to the Museum through special events, behind-the-scenes opportunities, and a personalized experience.
This temporary position will help to meet the Patron Program’s goals for revenue and participation through supporting the cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship of current and prospective donors.
Essential Functions and Primary Responsibilities
  • Produce personalized program mailings, including solicitations, renewal reminders, acknowledgments, and benefit fulfillment.
  • Draft and edit individualized letters and emails for senior Development staff to use in cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship.
  • Serve as staff lead for Patron phone line and email inbox, providing excellent customer service in responding to questions, booking reservations, and coordinating requests.
  • Support, staff, and participate in Development events (roughly 10).
  • Tailor invitations and Museum e-newsletter for Patron audiences.
  • Track progress to goals, maintain program calendars, record outreach and stewardship activity, and monitor status of current and prospective Patrons.
  • Perform general administrative tasks as needed.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements:Qualifications
Required
  • Bachelor’s degree, or commensurate experience, with at least 2 or more years of fundraising experience.
  • Strong written and verbal communications skills; organizational and administrative experience.
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced and demanding environment while maintaining a professional and positive attitude, working effectively individually and as a team member.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Google suite, and Tessitura/CRM databases.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
  • Commitment to advancing the ISGM’s diversity, equity, accessibility, and inclusion (DEAI) initiatives.
  • Ability to work some evenings and weekends as required.
  • Legal authorization to work in the United States.
Desirable
  • Museum and/or non-profit experience.
