Regular work schedule is Monday-Friday with occasional evening events and is in office.
The rate of pay starts at $61,901 per year, salary exempt.

Requirements
General Definition of Work
Performs comprehensive administrative support work assisting the Town Administrator and Senior Director Team with daily operations, maintaining various files, records and reports, performing data entry, proofreading documents, publications and other written materials, and related work as apparent or assigned.Work is performed under the general direction of the Town Administrator.

Essential Functions- Perform a wide range of highly responsible, confidential and technically complex and detailed administrative office duties for the Town Administrator and Senior Director Team.
- Coordinate multiple calendars; direct incoming calls and visitors; make travel arrangements and appointments.
- Composes, prepares and proofreads sensitive correspondence, reports, and other complex documents.
- Create presentations that will be presented in internal and external public forums
- Create, organize, manage and maintain, copy and/or scan a variety of files and records, manuals, resource materials, and sensitive files as assigned; monitor and purge files and records per appropriate document retention protocols; prepare staff reports and assist with website updates as needed.
- Serves as court clerk for The Town of Farragut Municipal Court and keeps records related to the Court.
- Reviews municipal court related correspondence, updates ordinances and procedures accordingly.
- Maintains traffic enforcement court records; sends correspondence on court behalf; attends traffic court.
- Facilitates and coordinates the Introduction to Farragut Program.
- Maintains and keeps applications for community grants.
- Maintains and keeps applications and appointments for committees and boards.
- Monitors the Towns software that is used to log, track, and process Citizen Requests.
- Performs other administrative duties for the Board of Mayor and Aldermen as directed by the Town Administrator
- Scheduling Training and Event Registrations and accommodations
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Thorough knowledge of principles, practices, methods and trends of municipal government operations as needed to assume assigned responsibilities. Methods, procedures, techniques, and activities of assigned functions and programs including the administrative office procedures and processes of an executive office.Methods and principles needed for analysis; research, detailed records management and report writing. Technical knowledge, computer skills and other expertise needed for the specialized area of assignment. Principles and practices of public relations and internal/external customer service techniques.
Relevant local, State, and Federal laws, rules and regulations related to area of assignment.
Education and Experience
Associates degree from an accredited university/college in business administration, or related field and seven (7) to ten (10) years of responsible office administration experience including experience in providing support to executive level staff.
Physical Requirements
This work requires the regular exertion of up to 10 pounds of force and occasional exertion of up to 25 pounds of force; work regularly requires sitting, speaking or hearing and using hands to finger, handle or feel, frequently requires repetitive motions and occasionally requires standing, walking, stooping, kneeling, crouching or crawling, reaching with hands and arms, pushing or pulling and lifting; work has standard vision requirements; vocal communication is required for expressing or exchanging ideas by means of the spoken word; hearing is required to perceive information at normal spoken word levels; work requires preparing and analyzing written or computer data, operating machines and observing general surroundings and activities; work has no exposure to environmental conditions; work is generally in a moderately noisy location (e.g. business office, light traffic).
Special Requirements
MTAS Court Clerk Certification must be obtained within thirty-six (36) months of hire and maintained.
Valid TN drivers license.
