Candidate Profile:
- JD from a top-tier law school with a strong academic record.
- Bar Admission in Texas.
- 34 years of substantive experience in real estate transactions, including acquisition, disposition, financing, and development of commercial real estate assets.
- AmLaw 200 experience: familiarity with the pace and expectations of a sophisticated law firm environment is necessary.
- Skilled in complex legal drafting.
- Experience in joint venture transactions is preferred, but not required.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work on a variety of high-profile real estate transactions, including joint venture formations, financings, and the acquisition and disposition of real estate assets across the United States.
- Represent developers, investors, and financial institutions in complex real estate deals.
- Collaborate with a dynamic team of attorneys in a collegial and interactive practice.
