Assistant IT Director

We are offering a long-term contract employment opportunity for a detail-oriented Assistant IT Director, located in Rochester, New York. As an Assistant IT Director, you will play a key role in supporting the transition of new affiliate systems, ensuring the seamless integration of technology, and managing a technical team.

• Oversee the implementation of supply chain technology systems and ensure their continuity
• Lead the configuration, enhancement, and development of information systems
• Collaborate with IT and business partners to standardize data and streamline inventory and procurement processes
• Manage a technical team to resolve application, interface, and integration issues
• Drive technology improvement plans that align with the enterprise's goals
• Support the identification of workflow and cost-saving opportunities, particularly in relation to business continuity and process improvement
• Leverage skills in Cloud Technologies, Workday ERP, Workday Integration, and System Analysis to enhance operational efficiency and system integration.
• A bachelor's degree in information technology, computer science, or a related field
• A minimum of 5 years' experience in IT leadership roles
• Proven expertise in Cloud Technologies, with the ability to guide teams on best practices and implementation
• Extensive experience with Workday ERP, including system setup, maintenance, and troubleshooting
• Strong knowledge of Workday Integration, with a focus on connecting disparate systems for streamlined operations
• Proficiency in System Analysis, with the ability to assess and improve current systems for optimal performance
• Demonstrated ability to lead and manage a large, diverse IT team
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain complex IT concepts to non-technical stakeholders
• Strong strategic thinking and planning skills, with a focus on aligning IT initiatives with company goals
• Ability to handle high-pressure situations and make decisions in a timely and effective manner
