We are offering a short term contract employment opportunity for an Administrative Coordinator role in the non-profit industry based in Hyattsville, Maryland. The successful candidate will be expected to perform a variety of administrative tasks, including processing customer applications, maintaining accurate customer records, and resolving customer inquiries.

Responsibilities:
  • Answer and distribute incoming calls from the main line in a timely and professional manner.
  • Reach out to local neighborhood programs for youth to obtain directors' names for a Health Program we are working on.
  • Maintain and update customer credit records accurately and efficiently.
  • Process and manage customer credit applications with precision and speed.
  • Monitor customer accounts and take appropriate action when necessary.
  • Work independently to achieve desired results as well as collaborate with a team.
  • Utilize excellent communication skills in all aspects of the role, including answering the main line during the week.
  • Handle patient scheduling as part of the administrative tasks.
  • Work well independently and as part of a team to ensure all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively. • Minimum of 1 year of experience in an administrative role within a non-profit organization
  • Proficiency in patient scheduling, including the use of relevant software and tools
  • Excellent organizational skills and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Ability to work independently as well as in a team
  • High level of professionalism and the ability to handle sensitive information with discretion
  • Demonstrated problem-solving skills and the ability to make decisions under pressure
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing circumstances and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Experience in coordinating meetings, preparing reports, and managing correspondence
  • Ability to provide excellent customer service to both internal and external stakeholders.
