Maintenance Mechanic

Seeking a skilled industrial maintenance mechanic. You will be responsible for installing, repairing, and monitoring industrial processing, production, and packaging machinery. This position reports to the Maintenance Manager but works closely with production and engineering teams to accomplish company and departmental goals.

education: High School

• Complete preventative maintenance on equipment in a timely fashion.
• Identify faulty equipment, troubleshoot, and recommend needed repairs. Develop working relationship with production staff and supervisors. Ensure production equipment is kept in good operational condition.
• Source and maintain adequate spare parts inventory.
• Be a key player in improving our production quality, safety, and productivity.
• Safely operate power tools, hoists, and forklifts.
• Read machine and electrical schematics and drawings, voltmeters, micrometers, calipers, and other measurement instruments for troubleshooting and repairing equipment.
• Communicate needed repairs, parts, and outside services if needed to supervisor.
