Job Summary: We are seeking a full time skilled and passionate Prep Cook for our growing business! As our Kitchen Prep you will be responsible in assisting the kitchen team to prep items that are needed. Vegetables, Smoothies, Sandwiches, follow recipes for marinades for chicken and fish.As kitchen prep person you will be responsible for cutting vegetables and following recipes.
Responsibilities:
- Prep during the week day by cutting vegetables in the kitchen.
- Making marinades
- Following detailed recipe cards.
- Adhere to all food safety and sanitation guidelines to maintain a clean and safe working environment.
- Communicate effectively with guests and kitchen team members to prioritize orders and maintain smooth operations during busy periods.
- Follow proper food handling procedures to minimize waste and ensure quality control.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by management to support the overall success of the restaurant.
- Opportunity to pick up more hours on the weekend working the grill for breakfast.
Requirements:
- Experience as a Kitchen Prep person. Some knife skills are a must. Past kitchen experience.
- Ability to multitask and work efficiently under pressure while maintaining a positive attitude.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well within a team.
- Attention to detail and a passion for delivering exceptional food quality.
- Flexibility to work weekends when needed.
- Physical stamina to stand for long periods and lift moderate weights.
- A commitment to upholding food safety standards and following health code regulations.
- Safe serve and bi lingual is a plus+
