The Behavior Specialist reports directly to a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) and will be based in our Gloucester location and provides clinical support to the group homes located in the region.
Salary: $54,000
What we look for in YOU:
- Assist BCBA with the assessment and treatment of challenging behaviors
- Consultation on ISP Plan Goals/Objectives, as well as environmental supports
- Training, oversight, and monitoring of direct support professionals with respect to behavioral support and therapeutic interactions
- Data collection and inputting data into excel database
- Input notes regarding behavioral services
- Provide specific number of hours of services per consumer in required settings per week
- Conduct observations and integrity assessments of BCBA's current BSP per Individual

Qualifications:
You'd make a great Behavior Specialist if you have:
- Bachelor's in behavior analysis, psychology, or a related field and Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) Certification
- At least 2 years providing behavior support to individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder or Intellectually / Developmentally Disabled clients
- Solid interpersonal skills required to work as an effective member of an interdisciplinary team
- Demonstrated experience and skills in presentations
- Demonstrated effective verbal and written communication experience
