We’re looking for a Senior Software Engineer with a strong background in software engineering and an interest in AI to join our team.
As a Senior Software Engineer, you’ll contribute to the development and maintenance of key components of our AI infrastructure. You’ll collaborate with engineers and data scientists to ensure the platform supports the complex needs of AI models and machine learning workflows.
What You'll Accomplish- Work with the AI/ML team to integrate models into the platform and ensure smooth deployment.
- Write clean, maintainable code with an emphasis on performance, reliability and scalability.
- Build and maintain APIs and microservices that enable AI model deployment and data processing.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to platform performance, integration, and reliability.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand technical requirements and deliver effective solutions.
- Contribute to improving platform architecture and workflows based on team needs and industry best practices.
- Mentor junior engineers and share knowledge around software engineering and AI platform development.
Hinge Health Hybrid Model
We believe that remote work and in-person work have their own advantages and disadvantages, and we want to be able to leverage the best of both worlds. Employees in hybrid roles are required to be in the office 3 days/week. The San Francisco office has a dog-friendly workplace program.
Qualificatons:
Basic Qualifications- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related technical field
- 4+ years of experience in software engineering, with a focus on backend or systems development
- 2+ years of experience in Python, Java, or Go
- Experience working with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure)
- Experience developing RESTful APIs and services
- Experience using Git for version control and collaborating in an agile environment
- Familiarity with AI and machine learning concepts, and exposure to frameworks like TensorFlow or PyTorch
- Solid understanding of database systems and data processing technologies
- Familiarity with Generative technologies
- Ability to work in a fast pace startup environment
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot complex software issues.
- Good communication skills and ability to work in a collaborative environment.
Compensation
This position will have an annual salary, plus equity and benefits. Please note the annual salary range is a guideline, and individual total compensation will vary based on factors such as qualifications, skill level, competencies, and work location.The annual salary range for this position is $162,800 - $244,200.
