About Our Client

Metropolitan Thames Valley Housing (MTVH) are one of the UKs largest landlords and a member of the G15. They are proud of their history, culture, and values, which have never felt more vital to their work in supporting and facilitating the communities they serve to be successful.

MTVH provides housing at different levels of affordability and offers a range of care and support services. They own, manage and administer more than 57,000 homes in London and the South East, the East Midlands and East Anglia. The scale of their operation helps mitigate risk and provides financial strength, which is demonstrated in their performance metrics.

MTVH is a well run and well governed organisation with high Governance and Financial Viability ratings from the Regulator, and a sound credit rating of A- stable reconfirmed by Standard & Poors (S&P) in December 2024, notwithstanding a backdrop of higher costs to meet enhanced building safety requirements in line with recently passed Building Safety legislation.

While current market conditions make development of homes more challenging, they continue to have the financial capacity to build new homes and are on track to deliver 569 homes in the year to March 2025. Their financial results for the six months to September 2024 showed a robust balance sheet with available liquidity of £675m and a low gearing ratio of 39%.

Their purpose remains steadfast, "That everyone should have a decent home and the chance to live well" and "Serving People Better Every Day" is their five-year strategy launched in April 2021 to pursue this purpose.
