Global Business Development Director - Semiconductor and Furnace
Global Strategy Development & Execution: Lead the development and execution of global business strategies to drive growth and profitability.
Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify global business opportunities and emerging market trends.Align global business strategies with organizational goals, ensuring consistency across all markets and regions.
Business Development & Client Relationship Management: Cultivate and manage relationships with key global clients, including C-suite executives and key decision-makers.
Develop and implement strategies to expand the client base and grow existing accounts in international markets.Identify new business opportunities and ensure the pipeline of projects and prospects aligns with global targets.
Oversee contract negotiations and key sales presentations to secure large-scale deals.
Team Leadership & Management: Lead and manage a global team of business development, operations, and project management professionals.
Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and high performance across diverse global teams.Provide mentorship and professional development opportunities for direct reports and regional leaders.
Financial Oversight & Profitability: Oversee global financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and resource allocation.
Ensure that global business operations meet financial targets and performance KPIs, including revenue, margins, and cost management.Analyze financial reports and market data to adjust strategies as needed and drive operational efficiency.
Operational Excellence & Process Improvement: Collaborate with operations and product teams to ensure seamless delivery of services across global markets.
Monitor global performance and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency, quality, and customer satisfaction.Ensure compliance with local regulations and global industry standards.
Brand and Market Positioning:
Serve as the global brand ambassador for the company, promoting the business at industry events, conferences, and through media engagements.
Enhance the company's market positioning by identifying new market segments and advocating for innovative solutions.
Develop and execute global marketing campaigns that align with regional and global business goals.
Risk Management & Compliance:
Oversee risk management strategies and ensure business practices comply with global and local regulations, ethical standards, and corporate policies.
Address issues related to international markets, including geopolitical risks, cultural considerations, and trade regulations.
Collaboration with Senior Leadership:
Work closely with the CEO, CFO, COO, and other senior executives to align business goals, resource allocation, and growth initiatives.
Report regularly on global business performance, market trends, and opportunities to senior leadership and stakeholders.
Global travel up to 50% is required. Candidates who have worked in the semiconductor industry and have worked for an OEM, who have a vast global network of contacts are highly desirable. For candidates outside of Buffalo, NY, this role will require periodic visits to Buffalo, NY throughout the year.
