We are offering a short term contract employment opportunity for a Bookkeeper in the Real Estate & Property industry, located in New York. The Bookkeeper will be responsible for maintaining financial records, managing accounts payable and receivable, and completing bank reconciliations.

Responsibilities:
  • Accurately process and code vendor invoices, post and issue checks, and handle credit card and online payments
  • Oversee day-to-day bookkeeping for corporate and real estate entities
  • Manage banking of cash and check receipts, ensuring all transactions are accurately recorded
  • Maintain and update financial records, ensuring data accuracy
  • Submit bank recommendations based on financial data analysis
  • Assist with the upkeep of data entry, ensuring records are up-to-date and accurate
  • Complete spreadsheet work as needed to keep track of financial data
  • Manage documents for transactions and existing investment entities, ensuring all paperwork is properly filed and accessible. • Minimum of 1 year experience in a bookkeeping role within the Real Estate & Property industry
  • Proficiency in account reconciliation
  • Experience in managing accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR)
  • Skills in conducting bank reconciliations
  • Demonstrated expertise in bookkeeping
  • Proficient in data entry tasks
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel
  • Experience in month end close procedures
  • Ability to process payroll
  • Proficiency in using QuickBooks software for financial management
  • Familiarity with MRI or MRI Software would be advantageous
