Job Responsibilities:

The Intern, Stakeholder Relations will serve as an integral member of the Stakeholder Relations team with responsibilities including, but not limited to, the following:

  1. Communications:
  • Develop content for social media platforms, including video content and graphics
  • Assist with the development and roll-out of a new Instagram account
  • Help write press releases for events, charitable donations, and community initiatives
  • Research and write stories related to sustainability and community impact
  1. Community Relations:
  • Represent Seneca Resources at various community events, town hall meetings, and 4H Livestock Auctions
  • Document events through photography
  • Attend charitable giving committee meetings
  1. Engagement:
  • Participate on the Seneca Serves committee; help plan and communicate volunteer activities
  • Assist with Energy Explorers events throughout the summer
  • Help collect and organize data for the upcoming 2025 Impact Report

Comply with Seneca’s EHSQ policies, standards and procedures and demonstrate active and regular involvement in EHSQ programs

Job Qualifications:

  • A junior or senior currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in public relations, communications, journalism, or related field
  • Interest in public affairs, corporate communications, or corporate social responsibility
  • Strong writing and communication skills with an emphasis on journalistic writing and editing
  • Ability to think critically and creatively in a faced-paced work environment
  • Maintain productivity while balancing competing priorities and deadlines
  • Ability to travel up to 25% and have flexibility to work evenings and weekends as required

The successful candidate must be authorized to work in United States of America.
