Job Description

The Engineering Manager will report directly into the President and be responsible for:

  • Lead, mentor, and develop a team of engineers to achieve project and company goals.
  • Oversee the design and development of manufacturing processes, ensuring quality, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness.
  • Collaborate with R&D, production, and quality teams to support new product development and process improvements.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality, reduce waste, and optimize resource use.
  • Establish and monitor engineering metrics, budgets, and timelines to meet company objectives.
  • Evaluate and implement new technologies, equipment, and methodologies that improve manufacturing capabilities.
  • Ensure all engineering activities comply with safety, quality, and regulatory standards.
  • Prepare and present reports to senior management on project status, challenges, and achievements.

The Successful Applicant
  • Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
  • 7-10 years of rubber process experience.
  • 3+ years of experience in engineering management or leadership.
  • Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, materials, and industry-specific standards.
  • Proven track record of leading and developing engineering teams.
  • Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or similar process improvement methodologies.
  • Excellent problem-solving, decision-making, and organizational skills.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
