Short Description

GENERAL
  1. Implement new systems, enhance and/or upgrade existing systems, system optimization, new feature/function implementation
  2. Analyzes, diagnoses, and implements system and process changes.
  3. Acts as the application subject matter expert (SME) when assigned to project teams.
  4. Ensure system changes follow change management procedures and protocols.
  5. Works with cross functional teams and Cooper clients by providing education on system functionality, and configuration of new tools to increase end user productivity within the application.
  6. Consistently meets project deadlines and goes the extra mile to ensure dates are met.
SUPPORT
  1. Serves as a liaison between end users, subject matter experts and technical support
  2. Provides on-call support 24/7
  3. Monitors queues, event logs and brokers and performs maintenance as required
  4. Monitors interfaces with external systems
  5. Creates ad hoc reports per user specifications
  6. QA/triage tickets
TESTING
  1. Develops, plans and executes testing for supported applications
  2. Creates and maintains test scripts in support of new installations, projects, and/or system updates.
DOCUMENTATION
  1. Maintains support documentation, service desk routing, and knowledge base entries. Communicates all necessary application changes, enhancements, and procedures to all necessary internal department teams.
  2. Documents and revises system design procedures, test procedures, and quality standards

Scope, Purpose, and Frequency of Contacts: Frequent interaction with IT staff and end-users, including health system staff, management, or physicians.

Experience Required
  1. 5 years relevant clinical, certification, and/or technical experience will be considered for those candidates who have a proven track record in the field and handling responsibilities associated with the outlined job responsibilities/summary

Education Requirements

Bachelor's degree preferred
  1. 5 years relevant clinical, certification, and/or technical experience will be considered in lieu of degree.

Business, Data Analytics, Information Technology/Systems, Healthcare preferred

License/Certification Requirements

Application specific certification/proficiency within 90 days of hire if applicable.

Special Requirements

RN, PT, OT, MA, LPN.

Healthcare experience in hospital, medical practice, or health system.
