- Patient-Centered Care: Play a critical role in delivering comprehensive pharmaceutical care through medication therapy management, patient education, and counseling tailored to the unique needs of our oncology patients.
- Collaborative Environment: Work closely with a multidisciplinary team of oncologists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized treatment plans that prioritize safety and effectiveness.
- Precision in Pharmacy: Review and verify chemotherapy orders with meticulous attention to detail, ensuring accuracy and compliance with established protocols.
- Therapeutic Monitoring: Monitor patient responses to therapy, making timely recommendations for adjustments as needed to optimize treatment outcomes.
- Engagement in Rounds: Participate in multidisciplinary tumor boards and clinical rounds, contributing your expertise to enhance patient care.
- Comprehensive Discharge Planning: Conduct medication reconciliation and provide thorough discharge counseling for oncology patients, ensuring seamless transitions in care.
- Educational Leadership: Educate and train pharmacy staff, residents, and students on oncology pharmacy practices, fostering a culture of learning and excellence.
- Innovative Research: Get involved in clinical research and quality improvement initiatives aimed at advancing oncology pharmacy practices and patient care.
- Continuous Learning: Stay at the forefront of oncology by maintaining up-to-date knowledge of medications, treatment guidelines, and best practices.

Qualifications- Degree from an accredited pharmacy program
- Valid Idaho Pharmacist License
- PGY1 Pharmacy Residency
- PGY2 Oncology Pharmacy Residency or equivalent Oncology Pharmacy experience
- Board Certified Oncology Pharmacist (BCOP) certification
