Accounts Receivable Specialist

We are offering a short term contract employment opportunity for a meticulous Accounts Receivable Specialist in Commack, New York. As an Accounts Receivable Specialist, your key function will be to handle customer accounts, process applications, and maintain precise records.

Responsibilities:

• Efficiently handle Accounts Receivable (AR) operations
• Process and manage customer chargebacks
• Handle deductions in customer accounts
• Utilize Microsoft Excel for data management and analysis
• Maintain and update customer records using ERP systems
• Resolve customer inquiries related to their accounts
• Monitor customer accounts and take necessary action based on their status
• Ensure attention to detail in all tasks related to accounts receivable.
• Proficient in Accounts Receivable (AR) operations and management
• Strong knowledge and understanding of Chargebacks procedures
• Capable of effectively handling and resolving Deductions
• Proven experience in a similar role, preferably in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent numerical skills with a keen eye for detail
• Ability to work as part of a team as well as independently
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel
• Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
• Familiarity with accounting software and databases
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise discretion in business matters
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make well-judged decisions
• Ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure.
