We are offering an exciting opportunity for a Real Estate Attorney to join our team in Dallas, Texas. The primary function of this role involves providing extensive legal support to our Real Estate and Development Operations team. The Attorney will be tasked with managing and organizing legal matters and cases, conducting legal research, and preparing legal documents.

This role is a key part of our team, and the successful candidate will be expected to demonstrate strong analytical and problem-solving skills, effective oral and written communication abilities, and maintain a high level of professional ethics.

Responsibilities:

  • Review and prepare various legal documents such as declarations, ECCR reviews, easements, and conduct title reviews.
  • Assist in managing subpoena requests and responses to small claims.
  • Conduct legal research on relevant real estate laws and regulations to ensure compliance.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address legal issues affecting real estate and operational matters.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of legal strategies to mitigate risk and optimize outcomes.
  • Manage and maintain an organized database of legal documents and agreements.
  • Provide support for general business law matters, such as contract drafting, review, and negotiation.
  • Support intellectual property matters, including trademark searches, applications, and enforcement actions.
  • Assist with regulatory compliance efforts, including researching and interpreting relevant laws and regulations, and developing compliance policies and procedures.
  • Provide litigation support, including drafting pleadings, motions, and discovery requests, and assisting with trial preparation.
  • Collaborate with external counsel on various legal matters, including managing relationships and coordinating legal strategy

  • Must hold a valid license to practice law in Texas
  • A minimum of 5 years of professional experience as an Attorney preferably in the real estate sector
  • Demonstrated expertise in Commercial Real Estate and Commercial Real Estate Investment
  • Proficiency in Corporate Real Estate matters
  • Experience with Real Estate
  • Leasing and Real Estate
  • Commercial is highly desirable
  • Knowledge of Real Estate - Title is essential
  • Proven track record in Real Estate Acquisitions and managing Real Estate Assets
  • Familiarity with Real Estate Leases is required
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong negotiation and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and meet strict deadlines
  • High level of professional ethics and integrity
