Software Engineer (736074)

The Software Engineer will have the following specific job responsibilities:

1. Develop and optimize the front end and back end of the companys software platform for virtually designing commercial interior spaces, to ensure that the platform is easily usable and searchable by its userbase;
2. Use .net, React, and other fundamental programming languages to build and refine components of the software platform, with a focus on innovation and integration within commercial interior industry;
3. Design and implement tailored PIM, OMS, and DAM systems to meet specific business needs;
4. Enhance real-time data sharing to resolve outdated technology issues for dealers and manufacturers;
5. Collect feedback from team members on the user experience of the platform, and identify and implement necessary changes to improve user experience;
6. Monitor performance of the software platform, and identify and resolve inefficiencies;
7. Import and integrate 3D assets into the platform, ensuring that the file types of all assets are compatible with the existing ecosystem;
8. Follow software engineering best practices, as well as in-house style guidelines, to ensure that the code structure is clean, scalable, and consistent;
9. Implement quality assurance procedures, such as by collecting error reports, identifying top maintenance priorities, and executing necessary fixes; and
10. Maintain accurate and up-to-date technical documentation of software functionality.

Work Hours: 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM

Required knowledge must include the following:

1. Bachelors Degree in Computer Science level of knowledge in developing complex data structures in object-oriented programming languages, including the usage of encapsulation, polymorphism, and recursion;
2. Bachelors Degree in Computer Science level of knowledge in the design and management of relational databases using SQL or a similar language, including triggers, indexing, query optimization, concurrency, and recovery;
3. Bachelors Degree in Computer Science level of knowledge in C language and operating systems;
4. Bachelors Degree in Computer Science level of knowledge in designing interactive Web-based platforms that integrate multiple languages and assorted technologies, such as ASP.NET, C#, .
5. Bachelors Degree in Computer Science level of knowledge in the applications of and best practices for object-oriented design;
6. Bachelors Degree in Computer Science level of knowledge in the principles and patterns of software architecture and design, as well as software development life cycle models; and
7. Bachelors Degree in Computer Science level of knowledge in testing and debugging procedures for software, including functional testing and structural testing strategies, as well as code refactoring.
