Primary Purpose
The Senior Vice President Clinical Automation will lead the strategic vision and execution of automated solutions within clinical trial operations. This role is pivotal in advancing Veridix AI's commitment to leveraging technology to streamline clinical processes, enhance data integrity, and improve overall trial performance.The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in clinical trial management, a deep understanding of automation technologies, and a proven track record of driving organizational change
Responsibilities:
Strategic Leadership- Develop and implement a comprehensive clinical trial automation strategy aligned with Veridix AI’s goals and objectives.
- Drive innovation in clinical trial design and execution through automation and AI technologies.
- Oversee the implementation of automated systems and processes to enhance trial efficiency, reduce operational costs, and improve data quality.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards throughout the automation process.
- Build and lead a high-performing team of professionals in clinical trial automation, fostering a culture of collaboration, creativity, and continuous improvement.
- Provide mentorship and guidance to improve team capabilities and drive professional growth.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with clinical operations, data management, regulatory affairs, and IT departments to integrate automation solutions effectively.
- Communicate automation strategies and progress to stakeholders, including executive leadership and external partners.
- Establish metrics to monitor the success and impact of automation initiatives on clinical trial outcomes.
- Utilize data-driven insights to optimize processes and drive continuous improvements.
- Engage with external partners, including technology vendors, research institutions, and regulatory bodies, to stay abreast of industry trends and advancements in clinical trial automation.
Qualifications:
- Advanced degree in Life Scientific or Business-related field is required (MBA, Master's degree, or Ph.D. desirable)
- Minimum 10 years of experience in clinical trial management, with a focus on automation and technology integration.
- Proven leadership experience in a senior management role, ideally within a clinical research organization (CRO) or pharmaceutical company.
- Strong understanding of regulatory guidelines (e.g., FDA, EMA) and clinical trial methodologies.
- Demonstrated success in driving large-scale automation projects and change management initiatives.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities, with a technology-driven mindset.
- Ability to travel up to 30% between current and potential customer locations.
