responsibilities:
- Execute a range of routine biological and chemical assays, including but not limited to: UPLC, LC/MS, LC/CAD, qPCR, DLS.
- Prepare samples, execute analytical testing, and perform data analysis with rapid turnaround time.
- Record, analyze, review, and interpret experimental data.
- Contribute to the upkeep of the laboratory by managing supplies, maintain laboratory instruments and ensuring a clean work environment.
- Participate in team meetings and provide updates on assigned tasks.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and standard operating procedures in the laboratory.
- Additional duties as may be assigned from time to time.
- Bachelor's degree in Biochemistry, Chemistry, Biotechnology, or related field.
- 0 - 2 years of relevant laboratory experience.
Preferred:
- A minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience in a biological, chemical, or clinical laboratory setting.
- Proficiency chromatography techniques including IEX/RP separation, UV/MS/CAD detection.
- Experience with integrated laboratory automation including Hamilton, Tecan, and Echo liquid handlers
- Proven track record of adhering to strict experimental protocols and SOPs, with a history of maintaining comprehensive and detailed laboratory notebooks and records.
- Strong analytical acumen with a commitment to data accuracy and quality.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and adapt to changing priorities.
- Excellent written and verbal communication for effective reporting and collaboration.
- Solid understanding of laboratory safety procedures and best practices.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving and a willingness to take on new challenges.
