Responsibilities:

The Radiology Technologist performs special procedures ensuring maximum quality of film patient safety and accuracy of information for interpretation. The Radiology Technologist must be able to perform all aspects of various special procedures.

This position requires providing care/service to a critically ill through rehabilitating patient; newborn through geriatric population in a manner that demonstrates an understanding of the functional/developmental age of the individual served.

This position requires the full understanding and active participation in fulfilling the Mission of St. Mary Medical. It is expected that the employee will demonstrate behavior consistent with the Core Values. The Radiology Technologist shall support St.

Mary Medical Center's strategic plan and the goals and direction of the Performance Improvement Plan.

Qualifications:

  • One year experience as a diagnostic staff technologist in a hospital setting.
  • Five years experience with at least three years specific special procedures training and experience.
  • Graduate of school of Radiologic Technology ARRT
  • American Registry of Radiologic technology license (ARRT)
  • Fluoroscopy Permit (FLUORPMT)
  • California Radiology Technology license (CRT)
  • BLS - Basic Life Support
