Manufacturing Engineer
A Manufacturing Engineer is needed for a multinational manufacturing company that produces and distributes trucks, buses and construction equipment, as well as marine and industrial drive systems in the Macungie, PA area. The Manufacturing Engineer is responsible for developing and optimizing assembly processes using Lean Manufacturing principles, ensuring safety and quality in production, and leading continuous improvement activities.

work hours: 8am to 4pm

responsibilities:
- Develop assembly processes to meet manufacturing targets using Lean Manufacturing principles.
- Ensure safety, quality, delivery, and cost efficiency in production processes.
- Create and maintain work instructions and determine appropriate manpower levels.
- Provide line support and service to production teams.
- Manage industrialization of new products and process changes with zero disturbance mindset.
- Determine assembly sequence, time standards, line balancing, station design, and tooling requirements.
- Perform time studies for new processes using MCTM (Methods Calculate Time Montage) standards.
- Identify tooling and equipment needs for new product changes and processes.

Education and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent experience in a technical manufacturing role.
- 0-2 years of experience in manufacturing.
