We are in search of a Receptionist to join our team located in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. The role will be in the Financial Services industry and will involve managing client interactions, both in person and over the phone, and providing administrative support.

This role offers a short-term contract employment opportunity.

Responsibilities:
  • Field and direct incoming calls, demonstrating a professional and courteous manner
  • Handle challenging calls, including those from clients dealing with mental health issues, with tact and empathy
  • Employ MS Office tools to manage and organize office correspondence
  • Sort and distribute incoming mail to the appropriate recipients
  • Maintain an organized and welcoming reception area
  • Offer administrative assistance as needed to support team efficiency
  • Use a switchboard to manage multiple lines and direct calls effectively
  • Ensure all client interactions are handled with a high level of customer service
  • Collaborate with other team members to ensure smooth office operations. • Must have a solid understanding of Receptionist Duties including greeting visitors, answering phone calls, and managing correspondence.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, including Word, Excel, and Outlook, is required.
  • Previous experience with a Switch Board is highly desirable.
  • Demonstrated skills in Administrative Assistance, such as managing schedules, creating reports, and maintaining databases.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to multitask and handle pressure in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • High level of professionalism and ability to maintain confidentiality.
  • Minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent; higher degree or certification in Business Administration or relevant field would be a plus.
  • Experience in the Financial Services industry is beneficial.
  • Excellent customer service skills and a friendly demeanor.
  • Must be able to work independently as well as part of a team.
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and systems.
