About Us:
We are seeking a dedicated and motivated Local Support Assistant in Cincinnati, USA, to assist with on-site interventions at the ISOCNET Data Center.
Job Overview:
The Local Support Assistant will be responsible for handling operational tasks at the ISOCNET Data Center, ensuring smooth processes for shipments, inventory, device maintenance, and basic technical troubleshooting. This is not a full-time role but an on-demand position, with pre-scheduled interventions communicated in advance.
Tasks
Shipment Assistance:
- Prepare shipments to and from the data center, ensuring proper packing and documentation.
- Track incoming and outgoing shipments, confirm deliveries, and follow up with carriers (DHL, FedEx, etc.).
Inventory Management:
- Conduct regular inventory checks for necessary equipment and supplies.
- Maintain and update inventory records, reporting any discrepancies or low stock levels.
Device Maintenance & Technical Support:
- Inspect and verify that all installed devices at the data center are functioning properly.
- Assist with the installation and configuration of new devices.
- Troubleshoot basic technical issues, such as connectivity problems or power-related concerns.
General Support & Coordination:
- Act as the on-site point of contact for support requests.
- Coordinate with internal teams and external service providers to resolve technical or logistical issues.
- Ensure clear communication regarding the status of shipments, inventory, and technical matters.
- Energetic & Motivated: Proactive in handling tasks and problem-solving.
- Detail-Oriented: Ability to manage shipments, inventory, and technical troubleshooting with precision.
- Flexible Availability: Must be available for on-demand interventions, scheduled in advance (Monday to Friday).
- Proximity to Data Center: Ideally located near Florence, KY (Cincinnati area) to ensure quick response times.
- Technical Skills: Basic knowledge of IT infrastructure and troubleshooting.
- Strong Communication Skills: Ability to liaise effectively with internal and external teams.
- Experience: Background in administrative support, logistics, or technical roles is a plus but not required.
