Quality Inspector Initial In Process

• Operate AOI (Automatic Optical Inspector) machine to visually inspect for a variety of defects such as no solder or insufficient solder, as well as missing components, incorrect components, and incorrectly placed components.

• Operating AOI machine
• Performing visual inspection of SMT assemblies
• Cross trained for in-process and final inspection as needed
• Performs visual and dimensional inspections of printed circuit board assemblies to ensure that workmanship complies with the appropriate requirements from engineering drawings, process specifications, industry standards i.e., IPC-610 and J-STD-001, and any customer-specific criteria
• Understands rules and requirements for proper handling of electronic components: Electrostatic Static Discharge (ESD) while adhering to all ESD & handling requirements
• Communicates the defects not captured by equipment to the responsible personnel for enhancement of program integrity
• Performs first article inspections, and in-process inspections of assemblies
• Other activities and tasks assigned by the management team
