Overview:
Develop high quality software for Android devices, working in modern Androiddevelopment environment using recent technologies like Kotlin Coroutines and Jetpack libraries
including Compose. Own software development coding standards, code review, and all
documentation as applicable for software development of mobile client. Lead Agile development
process for mobile client development. Ensure collaboration with senior management to help
generate task breakdowns and accurate schedules. Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Computer
Science, Computer Engineering or Information Technology, plus five years of progressive post-Bachelor’s experience in the position offered or a software engineering position or Master’s
degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or Information Technology, plus three years
of experience in the position offered or a software engineering position. All required experience
must have included developing, testing, and debugging Android mobile applications using Kotlin
and Java; using Kotlin Coroutines and Jetpack libraries including Compose; applying object-
oriented design concepts in an Agile software development environment; working cross-
functionally with other teams to articulate technical challenges and solutions, prioritize tasks, and
thoroughly test and delivery high-quality software; keeping abreast of emerging Android
development trends and design patterns; providing streaming media direct to consumers; leading
projects and mentoring other engineers; and working with web services, HTTP protocol and
service-oriented architecture. #LI-DNI. This role entails hybrid work, with time split between
working in our New York, NY office and flexibility to telecommute from another U.S. location.
