Stationary Engineer

Job Overview
Responsible for operating and maintaining all boilers, electric and steam chillers, cooling towers, variable frequency drives, air compressors and related auxiliary equipment in a safe and efficient manner in compliance with applicable laws.Operates and maintains all emergency generators, fuel storage tanks and associated equipment. Responsible for operating and maintaining all cogeneration units, condensers, waste heat boilers, pneumatic and electric controls, and related auxiliary equipment.
Qualifications:
Work requires a High School diploma or equivalent and three to five years of previous work related experience. Blue Seal Stationary Engineers License required, Blue Seal Refrigeration License preferred and Confined Space Certification preferred.Valid driver’s license required, as well as compliance with Qualifications to Drive a System Vehicle as well as all policies as outlined in the SJHS Fleet Management & Safety Program.
