We are offering a short-term contract employment opportunity for a Marketing/Communication Assistant in the logistics industry, located in Long Beach, California. This role involves supporting various marketing functions, creating content, and managing marketing campaigns.

The chosen candidate will work in a fast-paced environment and be responsible for a wide range of tasks, from creating marketing collateral to managing data from campaigns.

Responsibilities:
  • Support various functions within the marketing department
  • Create and manage content for marketing campaigns
  • Compile and present data from marketing campaigns to the team
  • Assist in organizing trade shows and special events
  • Create and update presentation decks using Google Slides and Powerpoint
  • Utilize Salesforce and Pardot for digital marketing efforts

  • Solid understanding and experience in Digital Marketing and Brand Marketing are essential.
  • Knowledge of Salesforce Pardot for marketing automation purposes is required.
  • Ability to create engaging PowerPoint presentations using MS PowerPoint.
  • Must be able to manage multiple projects at once while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills are necessary.
  • Experience working within the logistics industry is preferred.
  • Team player with the ability to work independently when needed.
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications or related field is preferred.
  • Must be adaptable and able to quickly learn new tools and software as needed.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and strategic thinking ability are essential.
  • Must have a proactive approach, with the ability to anticipate needs and take initiative.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Must be comfortable working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
