We are offering a short-term contract employment opportunity for a Marketing/Communication Assistant in the logistics industry, located in Long Beach, California. This role involves supporting various marketing functions, creating content, and managing marketing campaigns.
The chosen candidate will work in a fast-paced environment and be responsible for a wide range of tasks, from creating marketing collateral to managing data from campaigns.
Responsibilities:- Support various functions within the marketing department
- Create and manage content for marketing campaigns
- Compile and present data from marketing campaigns to the team
- Assist in organizing trade shows and special events
- Create and update presentation decks using Google Slides and Powerpoint
- Utilize Salesforce and Pardot for digital marketing efforts
- Ensure all marketing materials are grammatically correct and visually appealing
- Manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
- Collaborate effectively within the team
- Maintain and update customer lists, including data entry tasks as needed. • Proficiency in Google Slides and Microsoft PowerPoint is a must for creating compelling presentations.
- Solid understanding and experience in Digital Marketing and Brand Marketing are essential.
- Knowledge of Salesforce Pardot for marketing automation purposes is required.
- Ability to create engaging PowerPoint presentations using MS PowerPoint.
- Must be able to manage multiple projects at once while maintaining attention to detail.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills are necessary.
- Experience working within the logistics industry is preferred.
- Team player with the ability to work independently when needed.
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications or related field is preferred.
- Must be adaptable and able to quickly learn new tools and software as needed.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and strategic thinking ability are essential.
- Must have a proactive approach, with the ability to anticipate needs and take initiative.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Must be comfortable working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
