This role offers a hybrid work arrangement, requiring candidates to reside in New York, NY, or New Jersey, with an expectation to be on-site once a month.
*Must have health care/physician provider credentialing experience*
Key Responsibilities:-Perform data entry and review of credentialing files; upload files to the database, ensuring completeness and accuracy.-Compile and maintain up-to-date and accurate data for all providers.-Handle provider credentialing, applications, and reappointments; monitor and follow up on applications as necessary.-Maintain copies of current state licenses, DEA certificates, malpractice coverage, and other required credentialing documents for all providers.-Ensure credentialing processes comply with NCQA standards.-Verify data accuracy and validity through thorough review and evaluation.-Understand the requirements and processes for maintaining, updating, and activating healthcare providers' licenses.-Navigate web-based software applications, upload/download files, access shared drives, use Outlook and Microsoft applications, and participate in Webex, Zoom and other virtual applications.-Update portfolios by uploading PDF files into the credentialing software.-Create Excel spreadsheets for data organization and reporting.-Initially shadow a current analyst to learn job processes and procedures.-Work independently with a positive, professional demeanor to establish and maintain effective working relationships with staff.
