Sr. Financial Analyst

We are offering an exciting opportunity for a Sr. Financial Analyst in the automotive industry, based in Farmington Hills, Michigan. The successful candidate will be expected to perform a range of accounting and financial analysis tasks, contribute to management reporting and budgeting processes, and work closely with various teams to enhance the business' success.

• Accurately and efficiently process Tier II accounting transactions, ensuring their integrity and compliance with accounting rules and SOX.
• Conduct inventory checks, investigate any significant discrepancies, and recommend actions to rectify problem areas.
• Collaborate with the procurement and sales teams to ensure accurate pricing for customer-provided parts.
• Assist in the preparation of the annual budget and contribute to the development of standard costs for Tier II products.
• Identify obsolete inventory and collaborate with various teams to facilitate its disposal and manage associated tooling.
• Contribute to continuous improvement efforts by identifying opportunities and conducting cost/benefit analyses.
• Manage the standard costing system, working closely with the procurement and supply chain teams to ensure accurate part costing.
• Support the Tier II team in all physical inventory counts and management meetings.
• Review monthly charges and related deductions to identify cost recovery opportunities.

• Minimum of 7 years of experience in a similar role
• Proficiency in Business Systems
• Experience in using Confluence
• Expertise in Customer Relationship Management (CRM)
• Familiarity with Data Mining Techniques
• Comprehensive knowledge of Accounting Functions
• Experience in Auditing
• Understanding of Budget Processes
• Competence in Capital Management
• Proficiency in managing Accounts Receivable (AR)
• Familiarity with Accounts Receivables Systems
• Experience in using SAP software
