Cyber Security Engineer

We are seeking a dedicated Cyber Security Engineer to add to our team. In this role, you will be instrumental in protecting our digital infrastructure from emerging cyber threats. Your duties will involve working with various teams to enforce strong security protocols, proactively identifying potential vulnerabilities, and ensuring compliance with relevant industry standards.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement comprehensive security measures and develop strategies for identifying vulnerabilities before they can be exploited.
• Assist in the planning and implementation of the company’s cloud information security strategies.
• Manage application and infrastructure security monitoring tools to detect and respond to security incidents promptly.
• Regularly conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify weaknesses in the infrastructure and applications.
• Develop and maintain an incident response plan, and coordinate responses to security incidents, ensuring their timely resolution.
• Ensure adherence to industry-specific security standards and assist in audits and compliance assessments.
• Implement security controls and solutions in cloud environments to protect against threats.
• Review and identify any gaps in firewall rules, security policy, and implementation.
• Maintain training and awareness programs to educate employees and cloud and devops teams on security best practices.
• Design, test, and implement security measures intended to protect cloud-based applications and data.
• Communicate and relate complex business requirements and associated risks to technology.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate security into software development and deployment lifecycle using the SASE framework.
• Research, evaluate, design, and recommend new or improved information security software or devices.
• Review computer logs and messages to identify and report on possible violations of security.
• Assist in the development of disaster or emergency recovery procedures for information systems and computer environment.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a Cyber Security Engineer role or similar
• Proficient in Cisco ASA and Cisco Technologies
• Strong knowledge of Cloud Technologies
• Expertise in Firewall Technologies, including Palo Alto Firewall and Checkpoint Firewall
• Experience in Auditing and Cyber Security
• Familiarity with Microsoft Azure and Application Security
• Understanding of Computer Security Incident and Computer Security Incident Response Team
• Detail oriented Cloud Security certification desirable
• Proficiency in Cyber security engineering, Cyber security policies, and Cyber security standards
• Ability to create and manage Security Policy
• Awareness and understanding of Cyber Threats and Advanced Threat Detection
• Experience in Network Security Monitoring
• Proficient in Vulnerability Assessment and Penetration Testing
• Knowledge of SASE, Firewall security, and DevSecOps
• Familiarity with CrowdStrike and Arctic Wolf
• Experience with Checkpoint.
