Job Overview:

• We are seeking a Patient Care Technician (PCT) to join our team for a 13-week contract in Rochester, NY. This position will require flexibility to work different units and shifts as needed. The ideal candidate will have acute care experience, be comfortable with varied duties across multiple units, and possess a current New York state license.

Responsibilities:

• Provide high-quality care and support to patients, including assisting with activities of daily living, taking vital signs, and maintaining patient safety.
• Assist with monitoring and documenting patients' condition, including changes in vital signs and behavior.
• Work effectively with nursing staff and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient care.
• Willing to rotate through different units and shifts as required by the facility.

Qualifications:

Experience:

• Minimum 1 year of acute care experience.
• 1st-time travelers are approved for this role.
• Travel pairs must be flexible with different units and shifts.

Licensure:

• Active New York State PCT License is required.
