Job Description

Quality Engineer:

  • Implement and maintain ISO 9001 and other quality management systems.
  • Conduct root cause analysis and develop corrective actions for product defects.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement in manufacturing processes.
  • Perform data analysis and statistical evaluations to monitor product quality trends.
  • Lead supplier quality audits and assessments to ensure compliance with company standards.
  • Develop and oversee quality control procedures, including inspection and testing protocols.
  • Participate in new product development by ensuring quality standards are met from design to production.
  • Train and mentor production staff on quality standards, procedures, and best practices.
  • Manage non-conformance reports and work to resolve quality-related issues promptly.
  • Prepare detailed reports and documentation to track quality metrics and ensure regulatory compliance.

The Successful Applicant

Quality Engineer:

  • A Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field.
  • Experience with ISO 9001 quality systems.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, including root cause analysis.
  • Proficiency in data analysis and statistical tools.
  • Knowledge of FMEA, 8D, and corrective action processes.
  • Prior experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to lead and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  • A mindset focused on continuous improvement and innovation.
