A Typical Day:

The Telephony Product Owner defines and drives the vision, strategy, and roadmap for our telephony products. This role collaborates closely with cross-functional teams to ensure product success, maximizing user satisfaction and business value.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Product Strategy: Develop and articulate a product vision aligned with company goals. Define and prioritize features based on research and needs. Create and maintain a product roadmap.
  • Product Development: Work with teams to translate requirements into user stories. Collaborate to ensure timely delivery and high quality. Conduct user acceptance testing.
  • Product Launch & Management: Plan and execute launches. Monitor performance, gather feedback, and analyze data. Manage the product lifecycle.
  • Stakeholder Management: Build strong relationships with stakeholders. Communicate updates and metrics. Gather feedback and address concerns.

What You’ll Bring:

  • Key Skills:
  • Product Management: Experience in product ownership, preferably in telephony and omni-channel communications tools. Understanding of product development and strong analytical skills.
  • Communication & Collaboration: Excellent verbal and written communication. Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills. Effective presentation skills.
  • Technical Acumen: Familiarity with telephony technologies and software development. Ability to learn new technologies.
  • Leadership & Drive: Proven leadership and initiative. Focus on results and continuous improvement. Ability to work independently and in a team.
  • Additional Considerations:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
  • Agile experience is a plus.
  • Product management certification is desirable.
  • Platforms: Five9, Genesys, Avaya plus ancillary products for text/chat/email management and speech analytics.

Compensation: Individual salary may vary based on multiple factors including specific role, geographic location / market data, and skills and experience as defined below:

  • Lower in range - Building skills and experience in the role
  • Mid-range - Experience and skills align with proficiency in the role
  • Higher in range - Experience and skills add value above typical requirements of the role

Some roles may be eligible for performance-based compensation and/or stock-based incentives awarded to employees based on company and individual performance.

Salary: $90,000 - $150,000
