Project Billing Specialist

We are searching for a Project Billing Specialist in the construction/contractor industry located in Davenport, Iowa. This role involves overseeing various aspects related to project accounting and billing, with a focus on contract billing.

Responsibilities:

1. Review project contracts and proposals to identify the billing conditions.
2. Prepare and distribute accurate project invoices and billing reports.
3. Collaborate with project managers, accountants, and other personnel to ensure all billing operations are conducted properly.
4. Reconcile accounts and resolve any discrepancies or issues.
5. Maintain accurate and up-to-date billing files and records.
6. Assist with month-end closing procedures and other clerical duties as required.
7. Adhere to all company procedures and standards while performing task.

Qualifications:

1. At least 3 years of experience in project billing or a similar role preferably in construction industry.
2. Strong knowledge of accounting and billing procedures.
3. Proficiency in billing software and Microsoft Office Suite.
4. Exceptional attention to detail, organization, and problem-solving skills.
5. Excellent communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills.
